Ether vs. epoxy NMR peaks

 Why do typical epoxy H peaks(near O) find themselves in stronger field than ether peaks ?

According to Internet typical ether peaks are between 3 and 4, and according to "Spectral Database for
Organic Compounds SDBS" typical epoxy peaks are between 2 and 3.

To give a little more to focus on, try paying special attention to the distortion of bonding orbitals in strained rings and the effect that can have on the electronic environment of that proton.
