39% Solution of NaHSO3
« on: May 19, 2011, 06:41:34 AM »
We have a solution of sodium hydrogen sulfite (sodium bisulfite) from our supplier, and it is stated that it is a 39% solution. Nothing else.

We are wondering what they mean by the %. Is it %m/v or %m/m? Is there any way to find out? We have checked the supplier info, and the most info they provide is that its a 39% solution, so no help really.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the quick response. So its safe to assume that its 39g NaHSO3 per 100g of solution.
Thanks again.
