Mixing Heat of water and diethylether
«

Hi, everyone
I observed that Heat occurs from mixing of DI-water and diethylether, during water/diethylether extraction of some materials.
Is this situation general?
If it is right, why does Heat occur?
I'd appreciate all of answers for this.
