How can i prepare copper citrate in my laboratory using common reagents. Some few common chemicals [like citric acid, CuO or Cu(OH)2 and ammonium hydroxyd].

Copper Citrate? You mean Cu3(C6H5O7)2 ?
That's a bit on the large end to just whip up isn't it? Why do you need this?

Some quick thoughts (I have not prepared copper citrate previously):

Dissolve CuO in NH4OH, which dissolves completely in the presence of an Ammonium salts (like Ammonium Hydrogen Carbonate):

                                  NH4+
           CuO + 4 NH4OH  ----> Cu(OH)2(NH3)4 + 3 H2O

Adding Citric acid could create Ammonium Citrate, Ammonium Copper Citrate and/or Ammonium Citrate and hydrates thereof. One could crystallize out, or evaporate and heat the salts expecting the ammonium salts to break up before the copper citrate. Caution, many copper salts are toxic and present environmental issues as well.

A slower route with most likely less yield, dissolve Cu in NH4OH (will take some time, a day or more, for the solution to turn blue). Add Citric acid and proceed as above. The only advantages are that one does not need to prepare CuO or copper filings (just dissolve the metal).

Good luck.
