Hi,

I have  a 120 L tank filled with NH4CL solution (Concentration is 76 mg NH4Cl/L).I need to maintain the pH at 7.5. How much NaHCO3 (sodium bicarbonate) should I add to get the desired pH (7.5)?

Thank you for the reply.

I tried the (LogC vs. pH) diagram but I am not sure if this was the only method I can use, and if this is the only method I need to be sure.

If you have such plot, you can use it - but that's equivalent to stating "if you are given an answer, than you have an answer".

In general this is multicomponent acid/base equilibrium, not necessarily an easy one to solve.
