Hello, im having trouble in telling when H20 (water) is used as acid or base? I hope someone can clarify the issue, thx

Depends on what you are using it with and how.

It is however, a very weak acid and very weak base, fyi.

Hi dear,

H20 (water) is the combination of two things but it can not be made if the quantity of a single thing exceed from limit.

It can either be an acid or a base depending on the reaction since H2O can both donate and accept proton.
