I am not a chemist so this may be a basic question, sorry.

The task:
I want to coat a very, very small surface ( a lens ) with Magnesium Fluoride, MgF2.
Application will be done using a syringe.

The question:
How do I get Magnesium Fluoride…MgF2…..into a liquid form ?

Constraints:
I cannot do chemical deprivation?..or high heat treatments.

Maybe I can just buy Magnesium Fluoride in liquid form…and where ??

Thanks

MgF2 in liquid form is not feasible at room temperature

I know in most labs they vacuum vapor deposit the MgF2, not something you can do at home

also, for optical purposes you will need very pure grade MgF2
