Hello everyone,

I am due to start my second year at the University of Liverpool, studying Chemistry. My degree programme has a year out working in industry, I am now starting the application process.

I am preferably looking to work abroad but i will also apply to as many UK organisations as possible to avoid putting all my eggs in one basket.

Any information or advice you may have would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has any links, email addresses or contacts that may be useful that would be great.

When I did my placement we had a placement tutor, who had contacts in various companies that had taken people on in the past for these roles. Do you have similar? Or alternatively, perhaps look at the RSC website, I seem to recall there was a section there for placements.

What sort of thing do you like doing / want to do?
