Gaseous Chemical Equilibrium problem!!!!!
« on: July 25, 2011, 11:39:08 PM »
at 25 degrees celcius:

2N2O(g) + 302(g) = 4NO2(g) where delta Hnought = -31.4kj

A 1L tank initially containing 0.200mol dinitrogen oxide and 0.0560 mol oxygen gas is allowed to reach equilibrium at the aforementioned temperature. at equilibrium, it was determined that 0.0200 mol of nitrogen dioxide formed.

a)calculate the equilibrium partial pressures of all three gases in the mixture.
b) calculate the K for this gaseous mixture at the aforementioned temp.
c) calculate the K for this gaseous mixture at 75 degrees C.
