Question about combining compounds
« on: September 08, 2011, 10:57:55 PM »
I have this review question and I can't remember how to figure it out.  Its how many grams of zinc (II) bromide can be formed when 100.0 g of zinc metal and 100.0 g of bromine (in its most common elemental form) are mixed?  Any ideas at this? Its driving me crazy.

Can you start with a balanced chemical reaction?  Can you relate the grams given in the problem to the balanced chemical reaction?
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
