A copper refinery produces a copper ingot weighing 200 .

If the copper is drawn into wire whose diameter is 8.35mm , how many feet of copper can be obtained from the ingot? The density of copper is 8.94 g/cm^3 .

Density = Mass / Volume (D=M/V)
Volume of a Cylinder = pi * H * r^2 (H = height/length, r = radius)

Given values (and converted to SI units)

Mass of Ingot = 200 lb = 90.718424 kg
Diameter of Wire = 0.00805 m

Start calculating volume of the copper.

1. Calculate the volume of copper wire and multiply by the density.
2. The result should equal to the weight of ingot.
3. Then solve for H.
4. Ensure units consistency.
