hi..i'm a new-comer.i need something in urgent regarding on my research.how to synthesize polyether halides?does anybody has an idea??

Not finding anything specific about "polyether halides". If you have a specific polymer in mind, I'd do a SciFinder search on it. Otherwise, Principles of Polymerization by Odian is a pretty good place to start if you're polymer curious. See if you can borrow a copy from your library.

What do you mean by a "polyether halide"?

A polyethylene glycol unit with a primary halide? How many oxygen atoms do you need in there?

I would personnally look for a polyethylene glycol with a free alcohol, and convert it into the corresponding tosylate.

Or maybe something like polyepichlorohydrin?
