Determine pH values of a solution problem asking
« on: November 26, 2011, 10:54:18 AM »
By dissolving 0.5050g NaHCO3 in enough water to make up a 100ml solution. The acidity constant, Ka, of carbonic acid, H2CO3 os 4.2 X 10-7, and that of bicarbonate ion, HCO-3, is 4.8 X 10-11, all at 25 celsius.

What is the pH values of the solution prepared at 25 celsius?

Thanks for any advice.
