Hey all,

I need some urgent *delete me*! Can someone tell me what the mechanism would be for the reaction that begins with ethyne (acetylene) and goes to 4-heptanol?? I would really, really appreciate it! Thanks everyone and good luck studying!!

i think i need to start with some sort of polymerization reaction...that's all i've got so far, but am working on it now...
