Hi,
A little background info, I am doing a chemistry project, in which we are basically trying to produce about 500ml of H2
To do this, we are using the reaction of
2Al + 3H2SO4 -> 3H2 + Al2(SO4)3
The H2 are not at STP, but at 25oC and 1atm, so using the Charles Law, I found out that 3 moles of H2 is about 24,500ml in 25oC and 1atm. Out of that, I figured out that I only need 0.2 moles of H2 to produce roughly 500ml.
I am currently stuck at the next step, in which I need to figure out how many grams of Al, and how many ml of H2SO4 I will need.
Any help?
Thanks in advance.
