the question is:
"The sun supplies about 1.0 k W/m^2 (1.0 W=1 j/s). Plants are able to produce about 0.20 g of sucrose (C12H22O11) per square meter of leaf from carbon dioxide and water. Working from the standard heats of formation, calculate the percentage of sunlight that is used to produce sucrose."
All i have so far is the chemical rxn of sucrose, co2 and water.
I can look up the standard heats of formation of CO2, H2O, C12H22O11 and O2, but Im not sure if that is what I am to do..
Can anyone help me figure this out!?
