So my exam is coming up soon and I was wondering if you guys could help me with making my notes.
For the exam we're allowed to have a 8.5x11cm as like a sheet and we can put anything on it. ex. formula's, notes, definitions.
In the exam we will be given a periodic table, electronegativity, solubility chart, and metal activity series
Can you guys help me build mine?
Here are my units:
1)
a)periodic trends- atomic radius, ionization energy, electron negativity
b) Molecular vs. Ionic- lewis diagram, bond type, structure, (delta) EN (difference in electronegativity), repulsion theory shapes
c) naming/ writing formulas- binary, ionic, polyatomic, acids&bases, multivalent ionic, molecular
2)
writing chemical equations- word, skeleton, balanced equations
types of reactions- synthesis, decomposition, combustion, single displacement, double displacement
predicting products in chemical reactions
slint test for H2(g), O2(g), CO2(g)
characteristics of incomplete/complete combustion
solubility rules, activity series
3)
N,n,M | N, n, NA
law of definite proportions
mass percent/ percentage composition
empirical formula
hydrates
limiting and excess reactants
percentage yield
factors affecting yield
c,n,C
There's so many to put on its hard to pinpoint unless I print everything out in number 1 font and bring a magnifying glass with me
All suggestions are appreciated
Thanks in advance.
