Why the solubility of NaCl decreases when NH
3
is bubbled.and sodium chloride precipitates.this is used to purify sodium hydroxide in diafragm cell.

So you're bubbling NH
3
in an H
2
O solution with NaCl in it?
I'll throw that maybe because - depending on the temperature of water - NH
3
is more soluble in water than NaCl. This happens with NaOH as well.

If you add 1,00 litres of ethanol to 1,00 litres of water, you get 1,92 litres of solution.
