Hi I was just wondering how I might be able to deterime the molecular weight of tetramethylammonium iodide if the formula is Me
4
NI. I know how to calculate molecular weight...but the Me in the formula is confusing me..i know it has to do something with methyl though..but im stuck.
thanks for the *delete me*

Me = CH
3
.
Et = C
2
H
5
.
Ac = CH
3
COO.
and so on. The problem is these are not codified in any way so they can be misleading. Use them in your own notes at will, but be precise when discussing things with others.
