In Pchem Lab, we took the spectroscopy of an 'unknown' sample.  It is TiO2. 

I have to write a full lab report on the experiment to determine the unknown sample.  We used X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. 

I can identify the peaks.  But the concentrations are not as easy to calculate. 

I have looked around on the internet, and in the books at the library on campus, but I cannot find one example of 'how' to find the concentrations. 

Anybody know of a source that I can look at? or any input to help?

Could you describe your experiment in more detail? Usually there is some part of the experiment that is designed to measure known concentrations and set up a standard curve from which you can obtain unknown concentrations.
