Fe2O3 + CO in practice
« on: February 05, 2012, 10:59:08 AM »
Hi, I'm working on a scientific project and I need to know some information about this:
The question is about calculating grams and the amount of products and reacting substances.
look at the following formula: Fe2O3 + CO --> Fe + CO2
now if 100g of Fe2O3 react with enough amounts of CO .. how much grams would the product Fe be?
I need to know this so I can later see how much Fe there would be after the reaction to have the correct container.

Thanks.

How many moles of iron (III) oxide are there? How many moles of iron will this form?
