fotolysis of hypochlorite
« on: March 06, 2012, 12:05:08 PM »
hypochlorite decomposes with light:

2NaOCl => 2NaCl + O2
what lamps are suitable to do this efficiently?

Sunlight speeds up the process of decomposition on for NaOCl.
So a UV lamp would be suitable.
