Partial Neutralization

Hi Peoples,
What is a solution generally called after it previously contained an acid and a base, but the acid has been partially neutralized (and the base has been used up)?
is it just a buffer solution?
thanks

same concentration - but there is more acidic solution, so the base has been used up and the acid has been partially neutralized... i got a feeling it's merely called a buffer solution, but not sure if that's correct or the only name...

If the acid is weak you will get a buffer solution, but your original question didn't state anything about the acid strength.
