Hi Everybody, I'm a biology student and i need some support in the chemical part of my degree thesis.
I need to use the total alkaloids, flavonoids and terpenes, from the fruits of
Opuntia ficus-indica. I made a methanolic extract, but I suspect that a considerable part of the extract are sugars (sacarose, fructose). I don't need the sugars, not in a big quantity at least.
How can I separate the sugars from the rest of the extract?
