Hello, everyone!
I'm interested in studying the rotation of a portion of a molecule.
I already determined (theoretically) the activation energy of that process...
I've read books and papers where they say 'XX kcal/mole, that is 100,000 events per second'
Is there any equation I can use to introduce activation energy and temperature and get the frequency of the rotation?
I thought in Arrhenius' equation... but the preexponential factor is an experimental value... or is it possible to calculate it?
Thanks a lot for your time!
