Molecular and net ionic equation
« on: June 24, 2012, 07:51:16 PM »
Hi, I need help with this one.
What is molecular and net ionic equation for perchloric acid dissolving in water and also I have to write charges and state of matter?!

This is what I came up with but I think I am wrong here or not?
HClO4(aq) + H2O(l) > H(g) + ClO4(aq)

thanks in advance

H(g) + ClO4(aq) is wrong.

Can you write reaction of dissociation of - say - HCl?
