Correlation between heavy metals in water and water conductivity

some of our clients asks to test for heacy metals in their water only if the conductivity is over a certain value, like 2 microsiemens/cm for example. so obviously heavy metals affect water conductivity
my question is to what extent it is affected? what is the correlation?

All salts in water increase conductivity.
