You’re an experienced Polymer Technologist who’s excited by the opportunity to stand out from the crowd and demonstrate your enthusiasm and initiative at a higher level by leading our polymer technology team.

You must have strong scientific expertise in polymer design, characterisation and application along with experience of using polymers in customer-focused product development. Fully aware of both existing and developing polymer technology, your role will be to lead, coach and develop your team to access, adapt and deliver new technology. Your ability to creatively generate and dynamically champion novel, business-relevant projects will encourage innovation in both your team and the wider organisation. As part of a small, specialist team, networking across Syngenta, building external collaborations and presenting scientific principles to different audiences will be a key part of the role. You will have a PhD or BSc and significant industry experience.
