One of the product synthesis involves use of methylhydrazine carboxylate/methylcarbazate. Could someone help me know reactivity of this reagent with sodium methoxide and acetic acid. I have been searching for some data, but in vain.
thanks,

What kind reaction you are executing? Cyclization?

It is cyclisation reaction wherein chloroacetonitrile and methyl hydrazine carboxylate are the moieties involved. However, CH3ONa and CH3COOH are used in minute proportions.
There is no byproduct in the reaction
