I'm trying to find out:

-Mass (g) of acetic acid per liter of vinegar and
-Mass (g) of solution per liter of vinegar

I thought mass (g) of solution meant how much acetic acid but apparently not? what does the word solution mean and how do I calculate it? Thanks :)

The word solution refers to a substance dissolved in a solute. The entire mixture is called a solution.
You cannot calculate it because there is nothing to calculate.

Quote" Mass (g) of solution per liter of vinegar is meaningless.
To find the mass of acetic acid in vinegar you will have to do a titration of a sample with a known concentration of a base such as sodium hydroxide in the presence of a suitable indicator. This will, after a simple calculation, provide you with concentration of acetic acid in the vinegar.
Google acid/base titrations.

To find the mass of a solution of known volume, you need the density.
