Hello,
I would like to know what products are formed when you oxidize Se with H
2O
2I know that seleneous acid is formed by the reaction:
Se + 2H
2O
2 SeO
2 + 2H
2O
H
2SeO
3Can SeO
2 that is formed be oxided by H
2O
2 to form selenic acid?
SeO
2 + H
2O
2 H
2SeO
4What will determine if this reaction is going to occur and how do i prevent this from happening?
Thank you,
Bill
