I'm comparing methods of obtaining anhydrous 1-propanol on quite a large scale, and have several.  However, I'm having some trouble finding a detailed procedure for carrying out an azeotropic distillation of a propanol-water mixture by adding an entrainer such as benzene (I have found a lot of theoretical/mathematical papers, but I would like a "practical guide").  This is a very large scale project, so using dehydrating agents or sieves will present logistical problems, and distillation looks to be the most attractive.
    Does anyone happen to know where a procedure may be found.
