Does chlorhexidine interact with hydrogen peroxide? Should hydrogen peroxide be neutralised when used to clean wounds?

It seems possible that chlorhexidine would be oxidized, and altered by hydrogen peroixde.  It really depends how much of each there is, in terms of how much is used and their respective concentrations.  Dunno what you mean by neutralized hydrogen peroxide, its not going to be anything by water and oxygen if it has been neutralized, and we can get those just about anywhere for free.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.

I faintly remember a note in a First Aid book long ago about not mixing those two.  I seem to think the concern was a liberated by-product that was nasty.
