you can extract somthing that soluble in water by mixing the solution with glycerol?

Do you know anything about the properties of glycerol and water that would suggest to you a problem? Could you describe the procedure step by step to see where the procedure might fail you?

Liquid liquid extraction requires two immiscible liquids.
