corrected refractive index in organic liquids
« on: January 08, 2013, 01:11:28 PM »
How to solve this problem?

A student measures the refractive index of an organic liquid. the value is 1.2874 at 19.6 degrees Celsius. what is the corrective refractive index at 20 degrees Celsius? (you can report 4 decimal places)

I tried the n20 = nT + 0.00045(T-20) formula but did not work  ??? HELP pls
