Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin

Is propylene Glycol a better solvent than Vegetable Glycerin? Will it dissolve a solute faster or more efficiently? Which one is a better solvent?
Would it be faster to use ethanol as a solvent, then mix that with PG or VG?

Choice of solvent depends on the purpose. You will have to tell us what you want to do.
