Spectral Data software? Alternatives to OMNIC.
« on: January 27, 2013, 09:24:03 PM »
Does anyone know if there are any open source software packages where I can read in OMNIC files (*.spa - for FTIR data).

I know ACD Labs offers SpecManager (http://www.acdlabs.com/products/km/ackm/specman/) but Im sure its expensive. I checked the Thermo site and looks like I cant download a demo version on OMNIC.

I know I can export to txt, csv and process the data - just wondering if I could install the front-end software. Our copy of OMNIC is in the lab with the FTIR.
