Hi, first i'm French so forgive me for my poor English  

I am working on liquid crystals and i'd like to synthesize a nematic liquid crystal so that I can study its properties (optic properties mainly), but i didn't find any protocol that described the way to synthesize one. I've heard of MBBA and 5CB, which could be interesting because they are stable and nematic at ambient temperature, but i can't find more information.

If someone has a clue, it would be great !
