What electrolyte to use in double junction Ag/AgCl reference electrode

Hi,
I am investigating corrosion properties in different materials using potentiostat measurements with a double junction Ag/AgCl reference electrode. I am planning to use KCl (3 mol/L) in the inner chamber, but can I also use the same solution in the outher chamber or should I use somethin else?
