Will a solution of ammonium acetate be acidic, basic, or neutral?

So to determine what it will be you need to look at the anion and cation of the solution.

So since ammonium is a weak base, and acetate is a weak acid, would the solution be neutral? I'm confused. some references tell me that the solution will be mixed, others say neutral, and some say you cant determine it.

You can look up the pKa of acetic acid and the pKb of ammonia and calculate the pH.
