Hello all,

I'm trying to label styrene-butadiene random copolymer with a dye/fluorophore.  I've looked at doing reactions on the aromatic ring on the styrene repeat unit but feel that the reaction yield is not very good.  I'm currently looking at reactions that occur across a double bond (cis, trans, and vinyl bonds present) and was wondering whether someone could suggest some reactions, possibly some that are simple and have high yield.  The potential functional groups that I have available along with the dye name in parenthesis are shown below:

carboxylic acid (methyl red; mordant yellow, sodium salt)
alcohol (disperse blue 3, disperse yellow 7)
nitro (mordant brown 4, disperse red 1, disperse orange 3)
nitrile (Tc1)
sulfite (methyl orange, sodium salt)
double bond (brilliant green)
NH3+  (brilliant green)
NH2+ (auramine O)

Any suggestions or comments are welcome.  Thank you very much.
