Calculate Kp
« on: March 17, 2013, 07:16:38 PM »
At 389.0 degrees C, K = 5.82×10-1 for the reaction:

N2(g) + 3H2(g) = 2NH3(g).

Calculate Kp at this temperature.

I have done this question a million times using,
Kp=Kc(RT)Δn
and cannot get the right answer am I doing something wrong?

What value are you using for R, and what are your units?

I figured it out! I was raising the whole equation to Δn, not just RT. Silly mistake.
