Okay. First I admit that I am just a poor student, a crazy one.

I want to isolate uranium metal, how can I do it simply, easily and cheaply.

You can't.

You'll need to find some soil which is rich in uranium, then you will need about 70 tonnes of it.

After you have the yellowcake all you need to do is reduce.  A hot process which WILL put alpha emitters into the air around you, which if inhaled WILL f&#$ your lungs up.  Unless you have a glovebox at home you are not outfitted for this.

If you watch the first vid and think *cool!* instead of "that guy is a f&#$wit", you should not do this.
