excitation metal
« on: June 06, 2013, 03:30:47 PM »
Hi all,

How can I excitation - ionization metal by chemical material or something else ???  ???
May by radioactive material which is too soft.
Aqua regia creates 9.225 ev energy? And ionize inside the liquid?

I'm suspecting we may be facing a language barrier.  However, even so, its worthwhile to have some starting points for a discussion, before it gets away from us, so here goes:

Hi all,

Hello yourself.

How can I excitation - ionization

these words are not synonyms, so I have to ask why you use them together.

metal

solid metal?  or metal ions in solution?  What do you mean here?

by chemical material or something else ???  ???

Again, why do you want either chemical means or something else.  Why do you put them so close?  Results will not always be the same with different methods.

May by radioactive material which is too soft.

OK, that's a different application.

That really doesn't make sense.  I'm left suspecting that we're going to get close to pseudoscience here.

And ionize inside the liquid?

Again, not clear enough to be meaningful.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.

ok...

I'd like to ionize solid metal But the energy is too much to do that.

Maybe what you're looking for is a plasma cutter, they do sell those for home use -- artists use them for example, particularly making custom PC cases.  Although I don't know if people still do that, given the trend to laptops and tablets.

I tried with laser diode. I'd like to use microwave tube in ultra low level but it need to calculate some value but is difficult.

So, I'm thinking if I put on metal some radioactive too soft. If you know some material which it becomes radioactive when I powered it.
