Rotational Energy constants help needed asap

So yeah basically i have no idea how to figure this question out

The C=O bond length in CO2 is about 120 pm. Calculate the rotational constant of
 CO2. (Ar C = 12 and O = 16)...using this formula Er = hB J (J + 1)

2) What other methods could be used to determine the experimental value of the rotational constant for CO2?

It's easy to calculate the rotational constant from the bond lengths and masses... but not from the formula they provided.  The formula is more of an answer to the second question.

yeah you were right i was using the wrong equation, i just figured it out....thanks
