Which elements make up certain objects?
« on: June 26, 2013, 05:43:46 AM »
Hello all. I need to find out which elements make up 50 varying objects. I am willing to pay $200 for the work. I am putting together an informative website for the school I work at and just do not have the time. (I am not a science teacher as you have guessed!) If anyone here thinks they might be interested in the work, please get in contact.

What kind of objects? All organic objects (be is apple or steak) will be identical.

These are all identical when it comes to composition. Basically C, H, O, N, P, S, Cl, Na, K, Ca, Mg plus some trace elements.

iPad
Humvee
motorbike
A satellite

Again, not much differences between these objects when it comes to elemental composition. Relative amounts of elements will vary, but they will also vary between satellite and satellite (they are not identical), between different motorbikes, or even between "dry" humvee and the one that is filled up and ready to go.

The Pyramids
Bathroom Tile

Basically the same thing.

Lightning

Hardly an object, more like physical phenomenon, doesn't have an elemental composition at all.

I think you already owe me at least $50  :P

A diaomd ring

Appart from carbon this would be entirely dependent on the colour of the diamond and what the ring is made from (Pt, Pd, Au, Ag etc.)
