Fullerene (C60) Reaction with Free Radicals?
« on: June 25, 2013, 07:02:09 PM »
What type of reaction occurs between fullerene and free radicals (ex: hydroxyl radical)?
I'm confused on the reaction, if there is a chemical equation drawn that would be great?

How do fullerenols react with free radicals? I have heard that they don't react and just act as free radical sponges.

Thanks for the *delete me* Any other interesting fact about C60 would be great!
