Is there any specific type of glassware that is traditionally used for a waterbath? Where could I get one?

Hello tcmbrendan,
Traditionally PYREX glasssware is used for laboratory processes involving heating. It is commercially available.

Are you heating on a water bath, or cooling? If heating, a large pyrex crystallization dish or metal pot will work. For cooling any bucket-shaped object will work.
