How to calculate the concentration
« on: August 28, 2013, 05:53:03 PM »
I used 10ml of .2M Fe(NO3)3 in a lab. I know the concentration of Fe(NO3)3 in the stock solution I made is 0.067M. But how do I find the concentration of Fe3+ in the stock solution?

You just won todays contest for the most ambiguous question.

Which solution do you call stock - the one you prepared (0.067M), or the one that was given to you (0.2M)?

I know the concentration of Fe(NO3)3 in the stock solution I made is 0.067M.

c[Fe3+] = c[Fe(NO3)3]
