I think sodium salts at all have good solubility. Better is to transfer the Tartrate to Barium salt and later treat with sulfuric acid. After filtering from the barium sulfate you can obtain the tartratic acid.
But check the solubilities of the barium salts. Maybe even calcium works.

Calcium tartrate has very low solubility and it is further reduced with decrease temperature.

Tartaric acid is a carboxylic acid, found in many plants, such as grapes and tamarind, sweet corner; it is one of the main organic acids in wine. Added as antioxidants in foods, the food may have acidity. The largest use of tartaric acid is beverage additives.Tartaric acid can't separate from sodium tartrate.

I would imagine that tartaric acid is soluble in organic solvents such as propanol, butanol, perhaps with heating. Sodium tartrate, on the other hand, will not be soluble. So a simple filtration should then suffice.
